Esley Hamilton joins us once again to talk about the architecture of St. Louis Churches. In early May, Hamilton became only the second person to receive the H. Meade Summers Award from The Landmarks Association of St. Louis. That award lauded Hamilton as the region’s most prominent and energetic preservation historian. Because of his nominations, 30 individual sites and eight historic districts have been added to the National Register of Historic Places.
July’s Lunch and Learn welcomed parish nurse Deb Goldfeder back from two weeks in Congo, part of her doctoral studies program. She spoke about the country’s history and customs, and about the Christian communities she visited.
